Description: Dr. Gary Miller is a Canadian mathematician and lecturer on religion. He was a Christian missionary for 15 years. Around 1977, Miller turned his attention to the Qur'an for the first time, wishing to put it to the test in the same way. As he read the Qur'an, he continued to find it in agreement with his own beliefs and with what he thought was common sense. He concluded that he had already been a Muslim for years without knowing it. He adopted a Muslim name, Abdul-Ahad Omar, though he continued to go by his original name.
