MUSLIM & CHRISTIAN DIALOGUE

Christian: Jesus loves you, and he died for you!

Muslim: Why should he die for me? What did I do 2020 years ago that makes him die for me? Doesn’t God say in Jeremiah 31: 30 “But every one shall die for his own iniquity”?

Christian: You don’t get it! We all inherited Adam’s sin when he ate from the Forbidden Tree.

Muslim: So why should I pay for Adam’s sin? Doesn’t God state in Ezekiel 18:20 “The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son.”?

Christian: You inherited your father Adam’s sin and God shall reckon you for it.

Muslim: God shall reckon me only for my deeds as your book states in Romans 2:5-6 5 …in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds ”

Christian: Please try to understand. You need to believe in the sacrifice of the Lord so that you have salvation on the Day of Judgement.

Muslim: Why does God who created me have to sacrifice for my salvation as long as He is the one who is going to reckon me? Jesus explained in Matthew 12: 37 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Christian: If you do not accept Jesus’ gift, you will enter the Hellfire.

Muslim: why shall I enter the Hellfire if I have not sinned? God states in Romans 2:2 “But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.”

Christian: God died, for he loves you and wants to forgive you.

Muslim: It is for sure that someone other than God died, for God does not die and that is written in your book 1 Timothy 6:16 “who alone has immortality”

Christian: It is not the Father who died. It is the incarnated Jesus who died for you.

Muslim: But Jesus said he was a human being in John 8:40 “…a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God” And God instructed us not to depend on mortal beings in Isiah 2:22 “Sever yourselves from such a man, Whose breath is in his nostrils; For of what account is he?”

Christian: Do you know how to convince me by stating these verses from the Bible?

Muslim: It is written in Deuteronomy 4:2  “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” Besides, Jesus preached everything in public and did not keep his teachings in secret as in John 18:20 “Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.”

Jesus never preached that he was sent for Crucifixion and Salvation!

Jesus never claimed that he was sent to abolish the Major Sin!

Jesus never called himself God reincarnated!

Jesus never claimed that the Holy Spirit was a divinity.

Jesus never preached that God is three persons, nor that he was the second person.

So… from where did you get your creed?

Christian: you convinced me, I am currently interested in studying Islam, so how can that be?

Muslim: Studying Islam has become easy on the Internet, but from reliable websites such as Islamic invitation
