为什么穆斯林妇女要戴面纱?
最近几年,一小块布片竟然掀起了轩然大波。穆斯林妇女头戴的头巾竟然成为世界各地的报纸的头条新闻。在法国和一些欧洲国家的公立学校,禁止穆斯林女孩戴面纱,某些国家也正在起草类似的法律。在澳大利亚,一位电视台的节目主持人公开呼吁银行和邮政部门禁止穆斯林妇女戴面纱(尼伽布),他的声明引起了公众剧烈的争论和强烈的愤慨。甚至穆斯林占主导地位的土耳其和突尼斯等国家,也禁止妇女在某些公共场合戴面纱。这一块小布掀起这么大的争论和冲突,去掉它真的很难吗?为什么在这样的环境下,穆斯林妇女还要坚持戴面纱?
或许理由是很多的,但用一句简单的话就可以回答人们的疑问:因为穆斯林妇女相信这是真主的法度,她们有遵守它的义务。在《古兰经》中,真主告诫信士和信女要降低视线,身着朴素的衣服。真主特别告诫妇女不要炫耀装饰品,除非是自然外露的,要她们遮盖全身。(《古兰经》23:30-31)
这些经文就是著名的“黑扎布”经文,伊斯兰学者一致认为,妇女用遮盖全身就是她们的义务。例如沙特和卡塔尔等国家有这方面的法律规定,要求妇女遮盖头发,穿宽松的遮住内衣的长袍。然而,世界上绝大多数穆斯林妇女穿不穿这样的长袍,是她们的自由。真主要求穆斯林妇女穿着朴素,在公共场合穿上长袍,因为那些地方她们面对的是陌生的男人。

比 scarf更合理是不值一提的。Hijab所表达的含义就是遮盖各种服装包括盖住scarf。实际上,世界各地的服装风格大不相同,hijab的含义也不尽相同。例如在巴基斯坦叫“舒尔娃·哈米斯”,阿富汗叫“布尔卡”。无论叫什么,如果穆斯林妇女遮盖了“装饰物,”那么她就算穿上了“黑扎布”

“黑扎布”的字面意义就是遮盖,或者就是隔开。众所周知,伊斯兰注重社会的和谐与道德的建设,因此,“黑扎布”就是一种方法,“黑扎布”保证了陌生男女之间的道德纯洁。从这个意义上讲,“黑扎布”

包含的意义要比scarf广泛得多,超越了服装的涵义,它象征着谦虚的性格和朴素的生活方式。例如,一位穆斯林妇女,虽然身着面纱,口出秽语,那么她根本没有懂得面纱的涵义。
大部分妇女身着面纱,就是为了顺从真主,这就意味着对妇女的尊重。(《古兰经》33:59)。然而在过去的30年中,面纱被人们看成伊斯兰意识的觉醒。在一些不鼓励伊斯兰生活方式或禁止伊斯兰活动的国家,许多妇女戴上面纱,对那些人而言,妇女身着“黑扎布”意味着伊斯兰的复兴。
那些人禁止面纱的理由是,说面纱限制了妇女的自由。实际上,在世界各国,穆斯林妇女戴上面纱,是她们自己的决定和独立的选择,没有谁强迫她们这样穿戴打扮。她们认为这是她们的权利,不是负担,这些穆斯林妇女认为面纱更不是压迫的象征。戴着面纱的妇女认为,这是远离时髦文化的“自由”。
“黑扎布”使妇女摆脱了性玩物的命运,摆脱了以貌取人的偏见,摆脱了只注重窈窕身段忽视思想建设的邪念,她们不再是性消费品。“黑扎布”解放了妇女,她们不必屈从于现实的错误生活理念,不必按照媒体的引导去安排生活。妇女身着“黑扎布”表明了她们的观念,遮盖秀发减少了她们在工作场所遭遇性骚扰的几率。由“黑扎布”形成的颇具私人风格的生活方式,充分显示了伊斯兰对妇女地位的无比尊崇。
的确,在某些家庭与文化中存在强迫妇女戴面纱的现象,但这种现象不是我们所阐述的内容。《古兰经》明确指出,宗教信仰没有强迫(《古兰经》2:256)那些选择戴面纱的妇女决定戴面纱,不是一时的情感冲动做出的决定。实际上,当妇女决定戴面纱时,她们面临来自穆斯林与非穆斯林社会的敌意。在全球,妇女们为了捍卫她们戴面纱的权利,用法律武器维护她们神圣的权利,有不少案例可查。
“黑扎布”是信仰虔诚的象征,是妇女内心深处力量和坚强的标志,是信仰伊斯兰的标志。穆斯林男人很容易进入社会,而穆斯林妇女则遭遇交际的红线,迫使她们不但为“黑扎布”而斗争,而且为她们的信仰而斗争。然而,身着“黑扎布”的妇女坚持认为,“黑扎布”给她们的优势远远超过了媒体偏见或愚昧无知者造成的劣势。通过艾莎史黛西
