Christ (peace be upon him) Worshipped God: Evidence from the Gospel of Luke 6:12

Christ Prayed to God: Does God Pray?
The passage clearly states that Christ went out to the mountain to pray and spent the entire night praying to God.
The logical question is: If Christ is God, to whom was he praying? Does God pray to Himself?
Prayer is an act of worship that a servant offers to his Lord. It is evidence of need and submission. How, then, can Christ be God when he prayed to God?

In the Noble Qur'an, Allah confirms that Christ was a servant of God:
"Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]."

As-Samad (the Eternal Refuge) means the One who is in need of no one, while everyone is in need of Him. How, then, can Christ be God when he prayed and was in need of God?

The texts of both the Bible and the Noble Qur'an confirm that Christ was a prophet and messenger whom God sent to guide the Children of Israel.
In the Noble Qur'an, Allah says concerning Christ:
"The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul created at a command from Him."
(Surah An-Nisa' 4:171)
All the prophets and messengers worshipped God and prayed to Him, and Christ was no exception.
